cTrader Integration

Why cTrader Open API?

The integration allows ZOLATICKS to obtain authorized account and market information and, where the user has granted trading permission, perform supported trading operations programmatically. cTrader Open API provides the connectivity required for the ZOLATICKS automation architecture.

Authorization

ZOLATICKS uses the cTrader authorization process. Users are redirected to the official cTrader authentication interface where they can review and approve the requested access. ZOLATICKS does not request a user's cTrader password directly.

Permissions

ZOLATICKS requests the minimum permission level required for the functionality being used.

• For account monitoring, read-only account access may be sufficient.
• For automated trading functionality, trading permission is required.

Users must explicitly authorize the application before ZOLATICKS can access their selected trading accounts.

Depending on the permissions granted and functionality being used, ZOLATICKS may process information such as:

Automated trading

When trading permission has been explicitly granted, ZOLATICKS may submit supported trading operations according to the user's configured strategy and risk controls. The application does not represent that every requested operation will execute successfully. Execution can be affected by market conditions, broker conditions, account status, connectivity, liquidity and other factors.

Demo testing & Disconnecting

ZOLATICKS is initially developed and tested using demo accounts and controlled environments. Live trading functionality is intended to be introduced only after appropriate testing and validation.

Users should be able to disconnect their trading account from ZOLATICKS and revoke the application's authorization through the relevant account authorization controls.
